Linus, We will miss you terribly. How do you say goodbye to a friend of nearly 20 years? You loved me unconditionally and this is a gift I will cherish forever as well as my memories of you. When you come home to us we will sprinkle your ashes beneath the maple tree in our backyard, where you loved to lay in the mulch on late summer afternoons.
This is picture is how I will remember you my friend, outside in our backyard, among the grass and flowers, and sleeping on the cool rocks in the shade. There’s a hole in my heart today and I am not sure it can ever be filled. Goodbye my brave and beautiful tabby.
